Sheguiandah is a First Nation community located on the northeastern part of Manitoulin Island. The community boasts a restaurant, hotel, several tourists’ camps nearby, a trading post/gas station and a convenience store, and two churches. It is home to the Centennial Museum, which hosts tours throughout the summer.
Sheguiandah also holds an annual powwow at the beginning of July and the community hall hosts many functions throughout the year.
