Aundeck Omni Kaning First Nation (formerly known as Sucker Creek--because of the abundance of suckers and smelts in the creek that ran through the village) is located along the beautiful North shore of Manioulin Island. It is located on Hwy 540, five kilometres west of Little Current, Ontario. In Ojibway it means “where the crows nest,” and the small community has a lot to offer; a full service gas bar, a harbour, campgrounds, a community centre and even a small hock shop.
